The Cromwell
Caesar’s Entertainment wanted to revamp its existing Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon to bring the gaming facility into the new millennium. LEO A DALY’s design for the updated facility includes a re-branded exterior with an updated color scheme, awnings, mouldings and other finishing touches. For the interiors, a new 10,000-SF, 260-seat restaurant, by chef Giada De Laurentiis, replaced the second floor parking area. Exterior walls of the restaurant are movable glass partitions, providing guests with views of the strip and The Fountains of Bellagio. The 197 hotel guestrooms and suites have been completely renovated to include the latest tech-savvy amenities.
The existing Drai’s After Hours Nightclub, which was located under the gaming floor, finds new life on the hotel’s roof as an expanded 60,000-SF indoor/outdoor nightclub and outdoor pool/day club. Designers replaced the circular parking garage ramp on the east end of the property with a straight ramp up to the parking garage to make way for a new porte cochere.
