Shenzhen Excellence Century Center

Excellence Huanggang Century Center is a major piece of urban sculpture in Shenzhen. Comprising four gateways and four towers, it is a modern design inspired by the most auspicious number in Chinese culture, the number 8, a symbol of prosperity and good fortune.

The tallest two towers reach 60 and 57 stories in height and feature glass curtain walls, chamfered corners and large-scale diamond-shaped facades that extend and recede from the typical floor plate. The tallest tower, at approximately 920 feet tall (280 meters), is dedicated exclusively to office space. The 57-story tower is 850 feet (260 meters) tall and consists of a mix of office, hotel and service apartment space, featuring a top-floor restaurant. The project’s podium, which anchors the four towers, is enveloped in glass and features a mix of retail, restaurant and entertainment areas.

Unlike typical indoor malls of Shenzhen, the Excellence Huanggang Century Center features an open-air central courtyard that connects visitors, workers and residents to the outdoor environment. This mixed-use development comprises more than 4,305,564 SF (400,000 SM) of retail, office, hotel and residential spaces, as well as 365,973 SF (34,000 SM) of underground parking.
